The 5ARM300-6C-3G is a non-insulated quick disconnect shackle tension unit with a ground strap. It consists of a compression spring housed within a polished stainless steel shell. It is designed to provide a non-insulated mean of taking-up excessive length, adjusting tension, quick disconnect of antenna wire, compensate for small relative displacement between the two parts of the aircraft to which the antenna is fastened, and provide a swiveling mechanical connection to the aircraft structure.
