PN 14039 is part of the subassembly of the HF Antenna Longwire System; it is used to join 2 wire ends to increase the length of the element. The 10-degree “T” Connector P/N 14039 is used where a sealed connection in the antenna wire must be made and the angle back to the feed point is approximately 10 degrees. The unit is completely sealed and has chuck jaws in all three legs. This part meets the performance requirement of MIL-A-7965 (ASG) and is capable of gripping & holding to breaking point of MIL-W-6370, Type I, Insulated Antenna Wire.
