The 15960-( ) series consists of a pair of low-profile, high-performance, blade antennas, which are coupled together with a VOR coupler. They are designed to be mounted on each side of the vertical stabilizer. With the use of a VOR/ Glideslope coupler, such as DG PN 14850, these antennas will receive the VOR and glideslope frequencies. The antenna shell is constructed of injection-molded plastic. The internal structure is foamed in place to avoid problems that may arise during aircraft shock and vibration.
