16785 Null Strike Trailing Discharger
Part Number: 16785
The 16785 is a Null Strike, high performance, trailing edge static discharger designed for commercial and business class aircraft with speeds up to 600 knots. It consists of an aluminum shank section into which a distributed resistive element is inserted. The distributed resistive element has a composite, semi-conductive, carbon discharge point. The element is protected with special thermo-fit shrink tubing to protect it against rain erosion. It is lightweight with stable resistance from -65 °C to 125 °C.
Mounting: 610R Series Retainers (16335, 16700, 16820, 16760, 16900, 740015)
